The work in the event business is changing - and not just since Corona. The requirements for security, speed and efficiency are constantly growing and it is becoming more and more important for the companies involved to document every single step in a comprehensible way. But also the effort required for the administration of one's own company is regularly increasing.
Besides the administration and disposition of employees and freelancers CrewBrain offers the possibility to manage tasks for several years. In this way project and event related activities, but also organizational work can be completely recorded and tracked.
In order to increase the overview, especially for organizational tasks, an update is now available for all customers, with which the task management is extensively extended. In the future, every CrewBrain user will have the possibility to create their own task lists and share them with other users. In this way CrewBrain promotes active collaboration of the entire team.
"In extending our task functionality, we have oriented ourselves on established task management systems and naturally also offer the functions known from many systems, such as assigning tasks to individual users or assigning priorities," comments Sven Schlotthauer, Managing Director at CrewBrain, on the extension and adds: "By using drag'n'drop functionalities and many other optimizations, the new task management offers great added value. This is especially true when it comes to the management of activities that are not directly related to an event or its setup and dismantling".
An additional focus in the future will be on the documentation of individual tasks and their progress. Thus CrewBrain offers a new overview for each task, in which the task description as well as comments and thus the progress to date are visible. In addition, the overview provides quick information about the status of subtasks as well as already booked working hours.
The new task management is completed by the possibility to define templates for tasks. These are then automatically created for new jobs or projects and, if desired, can also be assigned to previously defined persons. If certain approvals have to be obtained before an event, CrewBrain will automatically remind the responsible employee of this activity one month before the event starts.
The new task management is available to all existing customers in the coming days as a free update integrated in the monthly tariff. Interested new customers can register a free trial version of CrewBrain under Register and try out the new task management today.
In addition to task management, companies in the event industry can use CrewBrain to completely digitalize the entire inquiry and booking process for internal employees, freelancers and service providers. At the same time, the system offers a wide range of options for time recording, travel expense accounting and much more. A complete overview of all CrewBrain features can be found under Features.
