CrewBrain offers Epirent interface

CrewBrain, the software solution for personnel planning in the event industry, now offers an interface to the rental management software Epirent. Via this interface, order and personnel data can be automatically transferred from Epirent, so that work can continue immediately in CrewBrain.

"Nearly all our customers use rental software such as Epirent to prepare their quotations. For this reason it is very important to us to simplify the interaction with these solutions as much as possible", comments Sven Schlotthauer, managing director of CrewBrain, on the new interface. "Thanks to the API interface newly introduced in Epirent, we can now offer our customers a simple and secure solution for data transfer".

An API interface opens up completely new possibilities to make work processes more efficient. It also meets the spirit of the times that specialised software manufacturers are given the opportunity to connect to existing systems such as Epirent and the user can thus build his own corporate ecosystem".

In order to use the new interface, Epirent users must have the API interface enabled via support. The access data and the API token (the "key" to the API) can then be stored in CrewBrain. It is also possible to define which data should be transferred under which conditions. The service positions from Epirent can be easily mapped to the categories used in CrewBrain, allowing a seamless transition.

With the help of the new interface, the advantages of both software solutions can be ideally combined. The material management and quotation preparation takes place as usual in Epirent. As soon as an order is confirmed, the order data is automatically transferred to CrewBrain. There, the extensive personnel planning including time recording and employee accounting can then take place.
