Baden-Baden - At Prolight + Sound 2023, CrewBrain GmbH will present new functions in the area of occupational safety and employee assignment. While it has already been possible to keep a digital first-aid book and manage work and service instructions, CrewBrain will in future also offer the option of digitally creating risk assessments.
"The topic of event safety has already received a lot of attention in recent years, but not only the safety of visitors but also the safety of employees and helpers must be ensured at all times" explains Sven Schlotthauer, CEO of CrewBrain GmbH the background to the new function. "Since the documentation of risks and possible measures has so far been laboriously kept by hand in Excel lists and probably also falls short far too often, we have taken on the topic and created a simple and supportive solution directly in CrewBrain."
Since CrewBrain already contains a lot of relevant information, for example on the location, the fields of activity and the vehicles used, risk assessments can be created quickly and easily. "It is sufficient to think about the risks of individual activities and locations or even combinations of these once. Then, with just a few clicks, these already created partial assessments can be combined into individual and fully comprehensive risk assessments adapted to the job or project," says Eva Pennekamp, responsible for support at CrewBrain, explaining the simplicity of the new functions.
In addition to the new functions for occupational safety, CrewBrain will also be presenting optimizations for the use of the software in the context of employee leasing at Prolight + Sound in Frankfurt. Julia Schöning, responsible for sales at CrewBrain, explains: "This area in particular is currently growing disproportionately and more and more companies are offering employee leasing. For this reason, we have also expanded our system so that, among other things, framework agreements are recorded and the duration of use of our own employees is evaluated for the individual hirers".
CrewBrain will be presenting these and many other interesting features at Prolight + Sound in Frankfurt in Hall 12.0 at Stand A73. Those who can't make it to the trade show will find a detailed presentation of the individual features and benefits on the website at https://www.crewbrain.com. New customers can also register there for a trial version to test CrewBrain free of charge.
A flexitime account can be set up in CrewBrain for permanent staff. Hours worked can then be conveniently recorded using the time clock in the Smartphone Web App or subsequently, by manually recording the hours worked for the respective event. Holiday days and, if required, prescribed breaks are automatically deducted.
CrewBrain automatically generates statements, for example for freelancers or part-time staff, based on the working hours recorded by staff. Payroll statements can be based on flat rates, daily rates or hourly wages. The statements can also be used to generate invoices for clients with differing amounts due.
