New calendar views & other optimizations
Dear clients,
the last CrewBrain update is already a little while ago, but of course we have not been idle during this time. Currently we are working in the background on some major innovations and enhancements, which we are already preparing for the year 2022 and, as soon as the development is ready, will of course also present in the context of an update info.
For this reason, the current CrewBrain update is rather smaller. However, it contains many small details that we have adapted and improved. This way, working with CrewBrain is getting more and more intuitive and easier. I would like to introduce you to the details in the following. As usual, the new features will be available to all customers starting tomorrow
We wish you continued success with CrewBrain
Sven Schlotthauer
CalendarIn the calendar, we have mainly "cleaned up" a little. At the same time, in addition to a new view, there are also smaller functional enhancements. |
|
New structureThe day view, which now also works on a weekly and monthly basis, has been renamed to "bar view". Switching between day, week and month is now done directly in the navigation. The vacation view has been combined with the menu item "Overviews" and can now be called up as a sub-item in the overviews. |
New grid viewUnder the menu item "Overviews" there is a new "Grid view" in addition to the already known availability and vacation overviews. This provides an overview of all resources and their daily jobs. The view is endless, so that it is possible to ring into the future at will. |
Hide jobsEspecially clients who use the synchronization with a rental management software often ask for the possibility to "hide" certain jobs in CrewBrain. Starting with this version, a job can be hidden from the calendar in the job or project under "Options" at the bottom left. Using filters in the calendar, hidden jobs can be shown again later if required. |
Personnel requirementsThe personnel requirement is displayed - depending on the user rights - in the calendar and in many other places as X/X (booked / required). This display can be extended in the future to booked / requested / registered / required. Each user can make this adjustment individually under My Account > Settings. |
Advanced copy functionsThere are some new intervals when copying jobs. For example, jobs can now be copied to every second Tuesday of a month (or any other days). In addition, vacations can now also be copied, for example to store the vocational school days of trainees easily and quickly over longer periods. |
Opzimized personnel planThe personnel plan has also been extended with some useful features and is now also able to plan vehicles. |
|
Planning for subjobsFrom a project, the personnel plan has so far only displayed the respective main jobs. From now on, both main jobs and sub-jobs are displayed here, so the personnel plan also works across several levels. |
Past daysA new checkbox "future jobs only" allows to hide jobs from the staff plan as soon as they are in the past. This can be used to reduce the loading time of the plan for large projects when the project has already started. |
VehiclesVehicles can now also be scheduled via the personnel plan. The functionality here is analogous to the employees and freelancers. |
Individual tabsWe introduced the individual tabs in the last update and many customers are already using them extensively. At the same time, however, we have also received some customization requests that we are "adding" in this update. |
|
SortingSorting is now also possible automatically. All you need to do is click on the respective title line of a table in an individual job. The sorting set in this way is then also applied when saving and is automatically displayed the next time. |
New fieldsNew field types "Job employee" and "Job employee (booked)" have been added. These can be used to generate a drop-down list in an individual tab from all employees who have been requested or booked for the respective job. |
Further optimizationsIn addition to the points already mentioned, we have also made many other small optimizations. |
