Short-term employment, risk assessment and CrewBrain app 2.0
Dear clients,
the big festival season has already begun and the “summer slump” is not far away. We would like to take this opportunity to release another major update for CrewBrain.
In this update info, we would like to inform you about the new features and optimizations, which this time cover the areas of time recording, risk assessment, applicant management and much more. As usual, the new CrewBrain version will be available from tomorrow.
We wish you continued success with CrewBrain
Your CrewBrain team
Risk assessmentWith the risk assessment, we introduced an important new feature a little over a year ago to increase occupational safety at events. We have added a few more useful features to this feature in the current version. |
|
CopyingIt is now possible to copy risks quickly and easily. Risks are often based on each other or have similar descriptions and / or measures, so that working time can be saved by copying existing risks. |
Several activity fieldsA risk can now also be assigned to several fields of activity at the same time. In this way, duplicates can be reduced, resulting in greater clarity when creating assessments. |
Images & DocumentsDocuments and images can now be stored in the system for both the risks itself and the measures. This makes it possible to describe the hazard more clearly or to provide additional safety instructions. |
|
Time recordingAs usual, we have also implemented some new functions in time recording. For example, there are collective or company agreements in individual companies that require special logics for time recording. |
|
No public holidaysIn the employee's time recording period, you can now specify whether the employee should be paid compensation for public holidays. If this is excluded in a collective agreement, for example, the system can only calculate the public holiday surcharges instead of the public holiday compensation. |
Target hours onlyIf a collective agreement stipulates that employees are only paid on the basis of planned working hours (target hours), this situation can now also be configured. The actual working time is still recorded and displayed as usual for documentation purposes. |
Wage limitIf an employee is likely to reach the maximum amount stored in the time recording period, booking will no longer be possible in future. It will then only be possible to book these persons with an additional right, which can be assigned via the user groups. For persons with this right, only a message will appear, but booking will still be possible. |
Short-term employmentIf an employee is only employed on a short-term basis and may not exceed a certain number of working days per year, this can also be specified in the time recording period in future. In this case, the system will prevent a booking exceeding the maximum number of days. |
Display in the jobUntil now, statement & time recording information (and in particular the extrapolated hours and amounts) was mainly displayed in the request dialog. If an employee entered himself, this information was therefore not visible. As of this version, the information on extrapolated hours and amounts is also displayed in the employee list. |
Categories for roomsIn future, categories can also be created in the administration for the rooms of locations and assigned to the rooms. As with the staff and vehicle categories, these can then also be used in the events and thus the room requirements for an event can be planned. |
Work contractsIf work contracts are concluded with freelancers, the system now automatically sends these to the respective freelancer by email. This eliminates the need to manually download the contract for the freelancer's documents. |
Applicant managementWe have also made some optimizations for application management, which have a particular impact on the data that can be recorded. |
|
Additional fieldsGender can now also be requested as an option in the application form. It is also possible to add additional private data fields to the application form, which are then only visible during the application process but can no longer be accessed later by the employee (after successful application and hiring). |
ValidationsThere are now extended configuration options for the validation of input fields in the additional data in particular. Numerical ranges can be defined, and complex checks such as IBANs and other special fields are also possible. These validations can be used not only in application management, but generally for all additional data. |
Other extensionsIn addition to the enhancements already mentioned, there have of course also been many small optimizations. |
|
|
CrewBrain App Version 2Over the past six months, we have completely overhauled our app. In addition to the visual appearance, we have also optimized many processes to make data available more quickly and give users the best opportunity to respond to inquiries, tenders and other business transactions. |
|
Open beta testOur open beta test for the CrewBrain app will start in the coming weeks. The new app can be installed in parallel to the old app so that it is possible to switch to the old app at any time. |
RegistrationYou can register for the open beta test via this link. When registering, you must enter your personal Apple or Google ID, as this will be used by Apple and Google to allocate the beta version. We look forward to many participants in the beta test! |
